Helena is our dental office veteran. She has been with New Image Dentistry since 1981 and has had the opportunity to work with numerous talented dentists. Her love of people and dedication to ensuring they receive the gentle dental care they need have made her a patient favorite for years. Helena strives to know our patients by name and to make them always feel comfortable. She holds a dental assistant associate degree from San Antonio College. She is a certified Dentrix dental software user, has completed continuing education with the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and attended a Linda Miles dental seminar.
After work, Helena loves spending time with her husband, three daughters, two dogs, and their cat who comes and goes as they please. She sticks by the, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” adage and once drove the same car for 17 years!
Mayra is originally from Durango, Mexico and is a graduate of Kaplan College. She says the best part of her job is getting to work alongside a great team who always put our patients first. She is the proud mother of a young daughter and son, and her favorite thing to do is play with her kids so she can tire them out! She also enjoys doing word search and sudoku puzzles in her free time.
Naudika is a Texas native, who started out as a RDA in 2019 . Naudika’s favorite thing about Dental is being able to help others find their smile. When she is not at work, Naudika is a avid Car Enthusiast who loves working on her car and going to shows. She also loves painting and spending time with her Husband and 2 Dogs.
Originally from Richmond, Tx, Ami is a Graduate from Texas A&M with a degree in Animal Science, she moved to dental soon after graduating. Ami continues to develop her knowledge of Dental & Dental Insurance by participating in Webinars and Continuing Education Courses.
When not at work, Ami enjoys spending time with her family & baking delicious treats!
Aniela was raised in Piedras Negras, Mexico, and she has lived in San Antonio for nearly five years so far. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with honors and also received the Community Dentistry Award. She has wanted to work in dentistry from a very young age and is thrilled to be living out her dream!
Today, Aniela finds that happiness has come into her life through serving others. She is very passionate about working directly with people and impacting their lives in a positive way here at New Image Dentistry. Her top goal is to provide meaningful, affectionate service to those in need, helping them understand the true greatness of lifelong dental health.
When she isn’t busy at the dental office, Aniela loves spending lots of quality time with her family and friends. Her top hobbies include playing tennis, swimming, horseback riding, and trying different types of food.
Lissette has been in the dental field since she was 17 years old. Helping them improve their smiles while building great relationships is her favorite aspect of her job! In addition to studying at Northwest Vista and UT Health San Antonio, she is certified in nitrous oxide monitoring, preventive sealants, and CPR.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Lissette has one child, Ezekiel. Some of her interests outside of dentistry include tending to her plants, having fun with her son, going shopping, and spending time with her family. Here’s something you may not know about her: she’s been in the dental field since she was 17 years old!
Jiye is a San Antonio native! Naturally, she chose to pursue her studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, undergoing additional training in Biolase lasers and nitrous oxide monitoring. Over the last 4+ years, her favorite part of her job has continued to be interacting with patients and educating them on the importance of maintaining good oral health.
Jiye’s family immigrated from South Korea to San Antonio in 2000. In her free time, some of her favorite things to do are traveling, attending different events throughout the city, volunteering, hiking, and playing tennis.
Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and has been a dental hygienist for 12 years. Kimberly cares about providing quality care specific to each patient's needs. She enjoys socializing with friends and family and loves being with her fur babies Kingston and Kai.
Analisa has been a dental assistant since 2012. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Our Lady of the Lake University and is nitrous oxide monitoring certified. Analisa says her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is helping people achieve their best smiles! She aspires to make patients feel as comfortable and welcome as possible in our dental office. Analisa is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have a very friendly German Shepherd named Onyx. She loves going to the gym and working out as much as possible. A huge Grey’s Anatomy fan, she can easily watch an entire season in one sitting!
Denise has been in the dental field for 13 years so far and loves having the opportunity to help patients smile with more confidence every day. She studied at the San Antonio College for Medical and Dental Assistants and has her nitrous oxide certification.
Denise recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, and together they have a blended family with five kids ranging from four years old all the way up to 15. When she’s not in the dental office, you’ll usually find her at home spending quality time with her children and their five cats.
A San Antonio native and military veteran (Marines), Melissa studied at the San Antonio College for Medical and Dental Assistants and has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Melissa completes numerous continuing education courses annually, and she holds certifications in nitrous oxide, X-rays, Invisalign, and CPR.
Outside of work, Melissa is happily married with 3 children. Most of her spare time is spent running her kids around to all of their extra-curricular activities, but when she finds some downtime, Melissa enjoys reading and visiting the beach.
Santos is originally from Corpus Christi! He attended college at Kaplan, and he currently has nearly a decade of experience in the dental field. Throughout the years, he has thoroughly enjoyed giving people the confidence to smile and laugh.
Away from the office, Santos loves camping, fishing, going to the beach, and throwing the football around – pretty much anything outdoors!
